KENDRICK “KENDYLIFE” NG

DIRECTOR AT SOCIAL GROOVES AND DIGITALLY ASIA

Founder of Kendy Life Creative and appointed Director at Social Grooves and Digitally Asia, Kendrick Ng is a self-taught comic and doodle artist originating from Sabah.

Kendrick has since received immense recognition for his work with him being appointed as the Official Brand Ambassador for Sakura Colour Japan (Malaysia).

He has been involved in producing custom artwork for special activations by brands like Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Sakura Color Japan, Logitech, and Sunway College to name a few.

His achievements to date are countless, with the latest of them being selected and included in Britishpedia under the title “Successful People in Malaysia” published by British Publishing House (BPH). Kendrick is very supportive of the pop culture and gaming community and is a gamer himself.

AMANDA “PEDOKUMA” THAM

FREELANCE ILLUSTRATOR & COMIC ARTIST

Amanda has been an avid supporter for community events and shelters. She started off as a Charity Comic Guest Artist for “Dog-a-dream” by SPCA Ampang. She later ventured more into the local industry with collaborations with Hitz FM morning crew in 2016, novel illustration for KINGFISHER and even participated in local campaign parties; ‘SAYANGI MALAYSIA, HAPUS KLEPTOKRASI in 2017.

Amanda is an experienced Comic Assistant for various webcomics with over 10 years of knowledge. Going international, she has worked as an official illustrator for clients in Japan, US and recently, Taiwan.

She had her works showcased at Taiwan Railway Hero Fest and Asia Comic Cultural Museum Opening in 2016. She has also been a guest artist for big video game titles such as Ragnarok Online SG/MY and recently landed a role as XL Games official Streamer for ArchAge SEA 2020. 

 

  COMPETITION RULES  

  • We will be accepting submissions between 11/11/2020 and 2/12/2020 11:59PM.
  • Artists must be registered for serverDNA 5 event to qualify for this competition. 
  • Artists are allowed to submit as many entries as they wish.
  • Only 1 winner per prize.
  • Please use the hashtag #serverdna5 #mousepadparty #serverdnahonkai
  • All media is accepted such as Digital or Traditional.
  • Contest is open to everyone worldwide.
  • Please be mindful of which country category you’re from.
  • Wrong submissions will NOT be entertained.
  • Please create NEW artwork submissions only.
  • Minimum image resolutions are 1500×1500, with 300dpi in PNG format.
  • Strictly NO NSFW content.
  • All entries will be judged by serverDNA’s selected judges between 3/12/2020 and 4/12/2020.
  • Winners in Malaysia will be contacted via e-mail and are required to be present on the 5th of December 2020 for award ceremony.
  • Due to Covid-19, if the winner resides outside of Klang Valley, winner is to immediately inform serverDNA team to arrange for prize delivery or a zoom call. Failing to do so will result in their entry being forfeited.
  • Judges decisions are final. Winners are to respond to their e-mail within 24 hours. Late responses will NOT be entertained and prize will automatically be forfeited.
  • International winners will be contacted via e-mail to arrange shipment.
  • Shipping cost is borne by organizer within Peninsular Malaysia only. East Malaysia & International may be subjected to shipping fees due to local tax and customs.
  • By entering this contest, serverDNA has permission to post your submission on our socials with credit to you, the creator.

  PARTICIPANTS LUCKY DRAW  

  • ALL participants will be entitled for an exclusive lucky draw session for the Fan Art Competition EXCEPT contest winners whom have already won prizes.
  • In order to have their name entered, participants MUST be present during the lucky draw session.
  • Participants are required to CHECK-IN during the lucky draw session.
  • 5 minutes are given to announced winner to claim their prize. If you do not contact serverDNA operators within that timeline, your entry will be forfeited and be added back into the lucky draw prize pool.
  • All draws are done fairly and by a fixed system.
